Allen & Overy’s global employment team is holding a series of calls on some of the major developments organisations need to consider concerning the Covid-19 pandemic. Country-specific insights were provided by partners from different jurisdictions: the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, the United States and Hong Kong.

26 March 2020 – The first call focused on some of the immediate concerns: leaves of absence, remote working and pay arrangements, as well as those mechanisms available to businesses to cut costs, whether through redundancies and layoffs or short-time working.
